Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Solution Architect – MCA Rule 3 Compliance based in India. The Solution Architect will lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and audit-ready data backup and hosting solutions for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP. This role is central to ensuring that Indian legal entities meet the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) Rule 3 compliance requirements for financial data storage, accessibility, and audit readiness. You will architect data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) pipelines to manage accounting records across key financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets. Working with Oracle technologies and India-based hosting infrastructure, you will establish reliable backup processes, audit trails, and real-time monitoring dashboards. You will collaborate with finance leaders, statutory auditors, compliance teams, and implementation partners to validate system readiness and demonstrate regulatory compliance. The position combines enterprise architecture, regulatory risk management, and technical project governance in a complex financial technology environment. This is a contract opportunity for an experienced architect who can translate regulatory obligations into practical, secure, and sustainable technology solutions, with travel to Mohali required for meetings.

Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of secure, scalable, and audit-ready backup and hosting solutions for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP financial data. Design and oversee ETL pipelines for extracting and managing Books of Account data from Oracle Fusion modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), and Procurement (PO). Architect India-based data pipelines and hosting environments using Oracle Database Cloud Service (DBCS), Oracle APEX, and Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) servers. Establish and maintain daily incremental backup processes, comprehensive audit trails, data integrity controls, and real-time dashboards to support ongoing monitoring and compliance verification. Ensure alignment with MCA Rule 3 requirements, including applicable 2022 and 2023 amendments, particularly those relating to data residency, accessibility, retention, and audit readiness. Assess regulatory and technical risks associated with infrastructure provisioning, data extraction, data integrity, backup reliability, and potential audit failures, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies. Serve as the primary technical liaison for finance leadership, statutory auditors, compliance teams, implementation partners, and other relevant stakeholders. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), audit walkthroughs, and compliance reviews, presenting technical evidence and demonstrating that systems and processes meet applicable requirements. Coordinate with internal teams and implementation partners to establish project milestones, manage dependencies, resolve technical issues, and define escalation procedures. Contribute to the preparation and review of Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Statements of Work (SoWs), technical architecture documents, and regulatory compliance deliverables. Evaluate and recommend suitable technologies and tools, including Oracle BI Publisher and Oracle APEX, to improve data extraction, reporting, system performance, and compliance outcomes. Oversee architecture decisions related to cloud infrastructure, data security, access controls, and operational resilience, ensuring that the solution remains secure and maintainable. Provide technical guidance throughout implementation, testing, deployment, and audit preparation, ensuring that the delivered solution meets business, technical, and regulatory expectations. Requirements: Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Bring at least 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution design, or technology implementation, preferably with a strong focus on Oracle ERP solutions. Demonstrate proven experience delivering regulatory compliance initiatives, ideally involving MCA Rule 3 or comparable financial reporting, data residency, and statutory compliance requirements in India. Possess a strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP financial modules, including GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, and PO, and their associated accounting data flows. Have experience designing enterprise-grade data extraction, ETL, backup, and hosting architectures that support financial data integrity, accessibility, and audit readiness. Understand Indian regulatory requirements for accounting records, data storage, accessibility, security, and audit evidence, including relevant MCA Rule 3 amendments. Be familiar with India-based cloud infrastructure, hosting environments, data security controls, and secure file transfer mechanisms. Have practical experience with Oracle APEX and Oracle Database Cloud Service (DBCS), or the ability to design and oversee solutions built on these technologies. Understand ETL methodologies, data warehousing principles, incremental data extraction, backup strategies, audit trails, and data validation practices. Demonstrate experience working with statutory auditors, finance leaders, compliance teams, and implementation partners, including presenting technical evidence and supporting audit walkthroughs. Possess strong solution architecture, analytical, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex regulatory obligations into actionable technical requirements. Communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and coordinate delivery across multidisciplinary teams. Be capable of preparing and reviewing technical documentation, BRDs, SoWs, architecture designs, and compliance evidence. Demonstrate sound project governance skills, including milestone planning, dependency management, risk mitigation, and issue escalation. Be willing to travel to Mohali, India, for project meetings as required. Benefits: Contract opportunity: Take on a specialized solution architecture role focused on enterprise financial systems and regulatory compliance. Location flexibility: The position offers Hyderabad, Vizag, or remote working options within India, subject to project requirements. Specialized technical exposure: Work with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Oracle APEX, Oracle DBCS, ETL pipelines, and India-based hosting architectures. Regulatory expertise: Develop and apply specialized knowledge of MCA Rule 3 requirements and Indian financial data compliance practices. Strategic impact: Help design and implement systems that support accounting data integrity, reliable backups, and audit readiness. Cross-functional collaboration: Engage with finance leaders, statutory auditors, compliance specialists, and implementation partners. Professional development: Strengthen expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud hosting, financial data governance, and regulatory technology solutions. Salary and additional benefits: The contract rate, payment structure, travel reimbursement, healthcare coverage, paid leave, and other benefits have not been specified in the available job description and should be confirmed during the hiring process. Travel requirements: Travel to Mohali for meetings is expected as part of the engagement.
