Do you want to be part of AWS Strategic Accounts, the segment responsible for helping our largest, most complex customers achieve their business outcomes? Do you want to go deep and wide within one customer? Do you have sales and technical acumen to drive adoption of cloud services and AI? Are you ready to work closely with experienced account leaders to deliver customer outcomes at scale? Are you an AI "builder", working with IDEs, using AI coding assistants, and understanding how agentic platforms deliver customer value? If so, we want to hear from you.

A day in the life Strategic Accounts is growing its account management teams in Seattle. Strategic Account Representatives work closely with account leadership and the extended team to develop new relationships and workloads in business units and lines-of-business. The ideal candidate will possess sales and technical capabilities to advise customers on AWS solutions, grow usage, and maintain relationships. This includes an understanding of AI and agentic platforms, and the ability to articulate how AI capabilities translate to business outcomes. You will own the full sales cycle, engaging manager- and director-level stakeholders, translating technical concepts into business language, and knowing when to bring in the right expert at the right moment. You will work cross-functionally with the extended team, closely aligning with account leadership on the projects you drive with customers.

Basic Qualifications

  • • 1-3 years of complex full sales cycle experience complex selling SaaS, AI, or cloud solutions
  • • Communicating technical concepts to customers and internal stakeholders
  • • The ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with guidance from senior team members
  • • Strong communication, follow-through, and discipline in managing stakeholder engagement
  • • Willingness to travel ~25%
  • • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in technology sales

Preferred Qualifications

  • • Experience in cloud, SaaS, or technology platform sales
  • • Gathering and processing market intelligence
  • • Technical selling skills including the ability to explain AI models, agentic platforms, and solutions to non-technical clients
  • • Experience with Data & AI-driven customer engagement solutions
  • • Experience managing pipeline and opportunity stages in CRM tools (Salesforce)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
