This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Finance Systems Analyst based in Canada. The Senior Finance Systems Analyst will lead the administration and continuous improvement of a finance technology environment supporting accounting, treasury, investments, and reporting. You will serve as a key systems partner, ensuring finance platforms are reliable, integrated, well-controlled, and aligned with operational requirements. The role combines ERP administration, systems integration, data governance, reporting, automation, and process optimization. You will collaborate closely with Finance, IT, external vendors, implementation partners, and system users to deliver scalable solutions. A major focus will be improving data quality, strengthening system controls, reducing manual work, and enhancing finance workflows. Own and administer Sage Intacct and related finance systems, including configuration, module support, workflows, reporting, user access, permissions, updates, and optimization. Lead and support integrations between finance and enterprise platforms, including Salesforce, payroll, procurement, banking, reporting, and other connected systems. Monitor finance system data integrity, validate system outputs, support reconciliations, and help maintain accurate information across accounting, treasury, investments, and financial reporting. Drive finance systems optimization and automation initiatives by improving workflows, enhancing reporting, supporting testing, and reducing reliance on manual spreadsheets and journal-entry workarounds. Manage ERP user roles, permissions, access governance, segregation of duties, system controls, and audit-ready documentation. Coordinate with external vendors, implementation partners, IT teams, and Finance stakeholders on system changes, integrations, issue resolution, testing, and user adoption. Provide system support and training to finance users, including troubleshooting, functionality guidance, implementation support, reporting, and process tools. Develop and maintain SOPs, policies, checklists, user guides, system documentation, and workflow documentation. Support BI, dashboard, and reporting initiatives by translating Finance requirements into data definitions, reporting specifications, and recurring management reporting improvements. Establish and maintain data quality controls, reporting governance, process documentation, audit readiness, and compliance support for finance systems and workflows. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 5–7 years of experience supporting finance systems, ERP platforms, finance technology environments, system integrations, or finance transformation initiatives. Strong functional knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Sage Intacct, including configuration, workflows, user access, reporting, testing, and system optimization. Sage Intacct administration experience or certification is preferred. Solid understanding of finance and accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, financial close, financial reporting, controls, and data integrity. Experience collaborating with implementation partners, consultants, technology vendors, IT teams, and Finance users on system changes, integrations, troubleshooting, and adoption. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate finance requirements into effective system solutions. Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Comfortable working autonomously while contributing positively as part of a collaborative team. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and remote-first environment. Familiarity with Sage Intacct, Vena, Salesforce, or UKG is desirable. Experience in a nonprofit, social enterprise, or other mission-driven organization is a plus.
